Inherited RG-14 and Ruger standard 22cal

Okay!!! I know the RG-14 is a POS but it belonged to my grandpa and I was wondering if I can legally own and register it in CA??

I was also wondering about the Ruger standard 22 Semi Auto pistol as I could not find it on the CA approved list.

    Thanks

    Welcome to Calguns.

The Roster of handguns approved for sale only applies to handguns that you are purchasing from a California dealer. Both the RG-14 and the Ruger Standard are perfectly legal to own in California. The process of registering them in your name depends on exactly how you came into possession of the handguns.
