I picked up my 10/22 from my FFL this morning and knowing I wanted to attach my bipod (I like to do bench rest target shooting) I quickly started figuring a way to make this happen.
I already have a bipod that mounts to picatinny rails, so I went to the gunshop and bought a Magpul polymer rail section. This was an easy install that required light modding and was pretty easy.
This seems like a good option especially if you have this kind of bipod already and your 10/22 DOES NOT have the sling stud (mine does not). And yes, I know the bipod is on backward (doh). Last pic shows the optional quadpod in white color. You gotta pay extra for that, tho.
