Ok maybe I posted this in the wrong section but I am having a hell of a time finding .22 short locally. My beretta hates CCI and eats up Remington.

I just had a bud pick me some standard velocity Remington shorts from a Walmart sorta near here (in Gilroy) for about 3 and a half bucks for fifty.

Make sure the CCI .22 short ammo you are using is the high speed variety, such as the HP and HV. The .22 short target variety is way too underpowered to cycle the little Beretta, and don't even try the CB shorts, unless you are trying for quiet single shot practice.

.22 short is 3 bucks or so for 50/rd at the gun show.

ammo bros has some subsonic for around $8

i think big 5 had some for $8 too

I hear ya it's a pita to find. Well I don't want to pay $8 a box and haven't found it for gunshow prices anywhere
