You know what, I was just going to start a thread about this. I just put my techsights on, and they are MAGNIFICENT... But I don't know what range to zero them at =[

I was probably thinking of just zeroing them at around 25 yards because I do most of my shooting at an indoor range... So I guess what range you shoot at the most. But I'm new around these parts so somebody will come around eventually with a better answer for both of us.

Depends on how far you will be shooting. I have several 10-22's and they are all sighted in at 25yd because when squirrel shooting, most shots are between 10 and 40 yards..... Sight in for what you shoot at.

Sight it in for 25 meters and take it to an Appleseed shoot.

I usually get the a rifle paper sighted in at 25 yds then move to 50 yds for fine tuning to zero. For rimfire its gives me good distance and on centerfire I'm zeroed to 200yds also.

I am not sure about the ones you mentioned but I just ordered a Shooters Ridge Tri-Stance rest. It has not arrived yet but it looked good to me for $62.

I have the Caldwell and it works fine. I dont use it much since I started using a sling. 25 yards is a good sight in distance.

How can it be sighted for two different distances?
