    Butler Creek Folding Stock for a 10/22

    are they any good? im looking to buy one for my ruger 10/22 compact and im just wondering if their good quality or not.

    I got one on my mini 14, basically the same for the 10 22. They are of good quality, no play on the stock when extended, you just have to adjust your cheek weld particularly if your left handed. Thinking about getting one for my 10 22. One concern is what will be the total length of the rifle when folded, I think i has to be 30" to be legal in CA.

      I think for rimfire, it has to be 26 inches long when folded.

        the one i have seemed to not fit as well the back of the triggerguard houseing was a bit too long so i filed some off a tad and then it fit perfect
