    Marlin Mod 50 open bolt

I've dug all over for info on this curiosity, and still can't find much. So far I know:
1st .22 auto loader Marlin offered.
    Approximately 5000 made between 1931 and 35.
6 rnd mag that no one makes anymore, but an 8 rnd Savage 1903 mag can be made to work (it's missing the mag).
No extractor, no firing pin, FP is a bar that strikes the rim all the way across. Later version had a manual extractor mounted on the right front of the receiver.
This one is marked Ranger 37A, so was probably sold through Sears.
Side safety, later version was on the rear of the receiver.
Left rear is D&T'ed for a receiver peep sight found on the Model 50E, I "think" the sight is a Marlin model 22?
Any ideas where to find a mag?
Any one know what this rear sight looks like or where to find one?

Here's the rear sight (at least according to Numrich). And they have it in stock for a whopping $8.45. They list the mag too, but it's sold out.

I have two of those riffles and one mag between em

what ever you do, do not push the little pin out of the trigger group, or allow it to accidentally fall out during cleaning.

It causes the sear to not reset after each round, but does not interrupt any other functionality.

Ajax, I got the Savage Model 1903 8 shot mag, fits like a glove, just needs the notch filed on the rear rib for the catch. Best price I found on one was here:
