    M&P 15-22 Accuracy

    Hi,

I got a S&W M&P 15-22 a few months ago. Its a lot of fun to shoot, but it hasn't been very accurate. The best groups so far are never smaller than about 2 inches at 50 yards no matter what ammo I use.

Maybe my expectations were too high, but I thought it would be better than that.

Can other 15-22 owners chime in with their experiences?

    Thanks,
    -T

I have no accuracy problems with the 15-22. What are you using for a sight?

Are you using iron sights or any optics? Well I'm using a aimpoint clone and at 50yrds its pretty accurate with cci mini mag. Its not perfect groupings but its all pretty centered.

Thanks for the answers so far. As for optics, I've tried iron sights, an Aimpoint red dot, and an Acog. Nothing seems to make much difference.

My 15/22 shoots about the same. It's what I expect from a stock semi auto .22 My tricked out 10/22 shoots way better, but I put in more than the cost of a new gun to get that kind of accuracy.
