Sig 522 sale

I've been hankering for a Sig 522 for a REALLY long time. For the July 4th sale, Big 5 has a brand new Sig 522, stock version(no rails and such I think) for 479.99. I'd rather get a used one, but people tend to price them within striking distance of this sale. Is it possible to get a 522 used for 300? Or should I just bite the bullet and pounce on this sale?

It's not really a sale at $480. Sacramento Black Rifle had a Sig522 deal for $370. It lasted for a couple of months so for a normal version at $480 is not a sale.

Alright, thanks. It sounded high to me too, but buds would have actually costed me more than big 5. Thought maybe prices were higher than I thought.

Riflegear has them for $469.00, for the classic, but I don't think it is much of a sale at that price either. I got tired of waiting and built me a tactical 10/22, saved over a $100.00 doing it that way. If I ever see the 522 in the $300.00 range, I might get one.

SBR has the best price I've seen, but IIRC that was only on the OD green furniture which is great looking IMHO
