Ruger MK 1/ MK 2 parts interchangeability

Hey all,

I'm looking to do something nice for someone who has a ruger mk 1 (non-scalloped receiver, no lock back on empty mag). I have seen accurizing kits out there for the MK 2 and MK 3, but short of a new receiver, I'm not really seeing anything for the MK 1. Does anyone know if a kit like this work on a mk 1? http://www.midwayusa.com/viewproduct...tnumber=681159 . If not, any suggestions on "nicing-up" a mk 1?
