I am looking in to getting a bie pod for my 10/22. I do not have sling mount pots on it. Also I do not want to send 100 plus on one. Any Ideas?

you can buy cheep ones at wally world for 40+ bucks or gun shops for 60+ but honestly if you can wait a little bit and save up the money to spend 100 You will get an amazing bipod. i used to dick around with the really cheep ones and after buying a decent one ill never go back to a lesser. heres the one i bought from midway, it swivels so you can level your rifle on uneven ground without dicking around with the legs. has nice notches and also bought a bipod lock to replace the standard tension nut on the bipods it makes adjustments super fast and easy. its defiantly worth the extra if you can swing it. take care.
i noticed you said you dont have a bipod stud, is your ruger in its original wood stock? if you want have a wood stock with a stud installed i would be willing to sell for cheep.
i also have a hogue stock ill sell as well its brand new here the exact one i have

This is the only real answer you need
#1: install sling studs.
#2: save up some money
#3: purchase 6"-9" HARRIS BI-Pod (it's worth the $$$)
#4: feel the warm embrace of the rifle stock against your shoulder
#5:
experience the increased accuracy of your upgraded .22

This is the bipod I have on my 10/22. I used a Walmart sling stud with it.
Yeah, it's UTG ... but Jesus, I'm putting it on a 10/22 not a benchrest gun. It works very nicely. I do wish that the legs were perhaps a tad bit longer, but it's pretty nifty just as it is. Feels good and sturdy, the springs are tight, and the locks on the legs are very positive.
I'd give it a solid recommendation for a 10/22.NRA Life Member
