question on browning buckmark availibilty

Hello everyone,

Searched for this but didn't find anything. I have a browning buckmark already, but I've thought about picking up another sometime for the wife. Last time I was at turners a manager informed me that browning had not payed to have the buckmark ca legal again/fee's. He did say one of the stainless versions were still
good for now, but we will have to wait for browning to go through the hassel for the buckmark. Does anyone have any news/info?

I found mine, at Bass pro shop in ontario.

I see them in my area both used and new but they are rare. When I was looking for one 3 years ago, there was ONE in my area and I drove 60 miles to get it and counted myself lucky.

Browning could do a lot better in marketing these great handguns.

I was told that their production line only runs for a month or so early on in the year, I was also told that they only produce what individual dealers order. This may be FUD but it would explain why there isnt a surplus of these out there.

They had one at Ammo Bros in Ont. when I was there last week...
