I have that exact rifle. It is a lot of fun. I put an inexpensive 3-9 Centerpoint scope from Walmart on it and I can hit pieces of clay birds at 50 yards all day long. It is the most fun you can have for a couple hundred $ with your clothes on unless you like to shoot naked ;-)
Using C Products 10 round magazines in my AR-15...just to be "safe"...

I hear that these are quite good for the price. I handled one similar to it (had a wood stock) this one time, and all was good to go. Granted I don't remember too much about it other than the accu trigger was interesting. (Just because I had never used one). It didnt put any hindrance in the shooting experience.

There are guys who are serious about accuracy who shoot precision .22lr matches, and the MkII is supposed to be pretty well represented among the competitors, usually the BTV model. I have one on my wish list.

The Savage Mk II is an excellent rifle and are very accurate out of the box. I personally have a BTVS and have seen more than a few at the various 22lr prec matches over the years.
I'm only smiling at you while you talk to me because it's hilarious that you really think I give a crap about you.

As I've gotten older I thought I was gaining patience, then I realized I simply don't give a crap.

I've got the tacticool version of that gun and it'll hit a 1.25" bottle turned on end at 125yards. Buy it - it's good to practice trigger control and breathing with.
