Getting my 10/22 back in the game....

So I was looking through the safe the other day and found at the way back my ruger 10/22. Havent taken that thing out in ages! So I was wondering maybe if I upgraded it a bit more then it would be more interesting and get more range time.

I was thinking a green mountain barrel 16" fluted(found one for 109 shipped good price?) and a hogue stock(anybody got a good deal on one of these?). I already have the competition hammer, an upgraded mag release, auto bolt release, and a few other things I cant even remember....

Also though I was looking at those CZ 452s and wondering if I should sell my 10/22 and get one of those instead? Seems like they are similar amounts of investment though do correct me if I'm wrong.

Get it ready and use your 10/22 for an Appleseed shoot.

My new home of NC has one coming up in late June and I plan to be out there sweating like a pig and (hopefully) earning my rifleman's patch.

The CZs are very much worth it. Good workmanship, sleek and elegant lines...accuracy.

                  What's not to like?

A gentleman by the handle "Izzy43" on this board is an accomplished shooter and good with CZs, I am sure he knows more than me about CZs as I haven't had mine for that long. I am very pleased with mine and would buy another one without a doubt. I <3 my CZ 452-2E ZKM (military trainer).
