Marlin Model 60 Synthetic Stock

Does anyone have pictures and or comments on the synthetic stock model 60? I'm considering buying a new one and putting Tech Sights on it for a fun plinker and maybe trying out the Appleseed training. I had a 10/22 and it's way too small for me, the 60 feels perfect to me (at least in the wood stock ones I have held)

My wife has one and she loves it. I have not had a chance to shoot it yet. Need to find a place around here that I can.

I'm a big fan of the Model 60. Have one made in the 80s and going strong. However I am not a fan of synthetic stocks on inexpensive rifles. They tend to be light and too flexible, especially in a semi-auto. Wood is a more stable platform for that rifle. Just my opinion. You could always get a laminated thumbhole stock from Boyd's later on if the syn doesn't work out.

Or check out the Marlin 60SB or 60SS models. Very nice with wood/laminate and in stainless steel.
