    Would you trade?

I have the opportunity to trade a Ruger mark I from the early 60's, For a beretta model 71.

What do you guys think about this trade?

The Ruger is to big to be a .22 IMHO (it is a wonderful gun, I just don't like it). and it is quite beat up :/. The Beretta on the other had is in fairly good shape from what I have seen of it.
They both only have 1 magazine.

Any input would be much appreciated. Thanks

If you don't like the Mark I consider trading. They both have some collector value and seem to be fairly comparable in value in equivalent condition.

Can you shoot the Beretta before deciding to make sure its functioning properly?

Yes, It functions properly. We took them both out a few weeks ago to see if they still worked properly. lol. I don't know, there is just something sexy about the 71. It reminds me of James Bond.

Sounds like you don't really care to much for the Ruger but might get more use from the Beretta since you seem to like the gun. If your comfortable with the trade go for it. IMO
