Need Some Help

My mother in law has this old .22 rifle that we know nothing about. I was wondering if any of you might be able to give me some info on this rifle. I have several pictures of the rifle and it's markings. None of them are spectacular so I apologize in advance. I live in Merced so maybe if you guys don't have any info for me on the rifle you may know of people in the area that could look at it.



This is the marking on the bottom of the barrel.

I searched for "Belgian flobert" and "Belgian warnant" in google and came up with images like the ones you posted. Now I'm not educated on the difference between a Flobert action and Flobert round so someone else may have to come along and chime in, but perhaps this is a start?

That gives me more info then I had before so thanks sephy. Anyone know of a database for the markings on the side of the barrel?

Bump to see if anyone else can help me out. Have tried searching for sites that will tell me what the markings are.

That is close to the rifle yes but not exactly the same. I am more interested in the markings on the side of the barrel.
