biggest game for the hmr

what do you guys think the limit is for the hmr on game animals

rabbit reliably. I have seen coyotes taken, but only with head shots. The body shots just barely penetrated to the inside of the skin.

yeah thats about what I was thinking but like you I have seen coyotes and pig taken with them on youtube videos.

i would suspect it depends on the distances you're shooting.

i would not hesitate to put a .17 HMR in the head or lungs of a 'ote within 100 yards.

I've read about 'ote being taken at 250 yds with the .17 HMR...personally...i would not try it from that distance with a .17 HMR.
