    RUGER 10/22 rifle

    Gentlemen,

Anybody know If it is California legal for the conversion kits stock with pistol grip and side folder stock for Ruger 22 like EVOLUTION, TAPCO, TOMMY GUN...etc that you can buy out there?, any restrictions on magazines and bullet buttons?

    Thank you,
    Troy

Tapco is fine for sure, can't go over 10rnd and no bullet button necessary....

Watch your overall length if you are going with a shorter barrel and folding stock.

Bullet Buttons are not needed for rimfire rifles.
The folding stocks need to be used with an 18" long or longer barrel in CA.
10 round magazines only unless you owned larger capacity mags prior to 1999.

A 16" barrel would be legal as long as the OAL is >26" with the stock folded. Remember that unlike the ATF, the CADOJ folds it as small as possible as long as it can still fire. That's why yuo may need a longer than 16" barrel.
