    Found old .22 while cleaning

Found this ammo while helping my girlfriend clean her grandpa's house. The box of Federal had 616KG stamped into the cardboard on one of the flaps. Couldn't find any lot number on the other ammo.

Thought some of you guys might enjoy taking a look at this old ammo. Anyone know if I can find a production date on the .22 short based on the lot number?

the federal Hi-Power ammo is probably from the 70's or 80's going by my bad memory. the Kleen Bore is probably from the 50's

Cool find. Fowlers in Orange County has a glass display case with a lot of olde skule stuff like this. A neat little trip down Memory Lane.

Great find. I would agree with NRAhighpowershooter. Just a guess though.

Hold onto those old boxes of ammo
Its stuff that you can no longer get and it is from the shooting industry of days past

Im pretty sure most of them would go bang

You figure that is maybe $10 of ammo on the high side so why shoot it

My father in law found some really old 30-30 ammo and it sells for A LOT in collector circles. Id look into that if your interested.
