Big 5 sells them for $400 in Nor. Cal. I am sure they do the same in So. Cal.

I got mine at big 5. I'm in so cal. Ask for the sale price if it's not already on sale.

I am so tempted to buy one of these SD models but I told myself I have too many .22 rifles already.

But Big5 has them for 400 bucks till Saturday. I could have sworn the two SD models I saw at 2 different big5's had the large (now illegal) fake supressors on them. I would have thought they would have purged them all out by now. The fake supressor that they were being sold with on them was only a little smaller diameter than the forestock.

Must stop buying .22's. Must get offline and stay away from computer but so difficult, can't help but Google. Feeling weak and tired now.

It is not illegal. The first production bunch was recalled due to ATF letter to GSG and large fake suppressors were replaced with new version that looks just like old, but has different construction/welds. All new GSG 522SD are in compliance and are legal to own, even in California .

I thought the originals fat cans were replaced with a smaller diameter can. Good to know they still use fat cans. Sounds like a porn movie

dam anybody want to buy my too small Liberty centurion safe LOL (kidding for now). Should have bought a safe twice the size I have errrr. I havent even finished buying all the aftermarket crap I want to do to my SR-22 yet.

Crap I still need forestock rails, vert grip, cheek piece for rear stock, 3/4" riser (ordered) and probablly something I'm forgetting. Then there is a Mossberg 930 SPX I'm thinking of. Does it ever stop. And I still only have one .22 pistol to this day, which bows me away. I would have thought I would have at least 3 by now.

After I got back from the Cow Palace, I stopped by Big5. Up close there were quite a few small differences between my PK and the SD, other than the obvious.

IMO it seems to be a well built and heafty rifle, due in part to the fake can maybe. If I had to nitpick, I personaly would change the charging handle out for something else if possible and of course swap out the rear stock with a collapsible one but other than that, I would buy one in a second. It's getting very hard to ignore it LOL.
