gsg-522 sd question

So i just got one and now I'm waiting the 10 looong days until I can pick it up. As I'm sure most of us do I'm killing some time by checking out all the new things I "need" for my new toy, I came across this http://www.hotgunparts.com/servlet/t...version/Detail
I was wondering if anyone has any idea or experience with that or if its even worth it. Also is there anything else I should get as well, besides a few mags and ammo?

I bought an 80 dollar tru glow scope for mine. Just a fun toy. I would look on ebay for most parts as they have been the cheapest.

Go through rrages.com, great site and has pretty much all you need for the gsg. i just bought one and am plotting my next upgrade

I can't say anything about that conversion kit, but I can say that I did order something recently from that website (hotgunparts). At first I was a bit skeptic doing so, but when I emailed them (or more like the guy who runs it), he was cool and helpful and I received my part pretty quick from them.

If you want the original look then I say go for it. It's a genuine gsg part so it should be good to go.

Make sure you pick up some mags

What does that conversion kit do ? Are they replacement parts ? I would just get a retractable stock, a red dot sight, and a few magazine KITS !

The kit changes out the revised parts that made it look less like the HK due to the lawsuit. It just makes it look like the original gsg-5

I have a 1st series sd model, so I wouldn't be needing that
