The closest you'll get to a supressor in CA is a Gamo Whisper.
Apparently, the baffles are foam so that even if you manage to cut it off the factory barrel and install it on a real firearm, they will blow out and fail to dampen even a measly 22LR bullet. I believe that's what I read.
