    What a blast for $20.00

I spent the evening with my son at the range shooting 9mm Barettas and 357 S&W and finished it off with about 500 rounds of 22LR from our 30 year old Ruger 10/22. We recently put a 3x9 Simmons scope and bi-pod on it, what a blast.

How else can you spend $20.00 on a brick of 22's and drill holes at 25 yards?

I hear you. I spend about 5-7 hours at the range when I bring my 22's. Can't beat the price

Compared to a Marlin magazine, the 10/22 is a joy to load. I don't think you could load 500 rounds in a Marlin mag in one day. You need a few days between sessions for your thumbs to heal

That's why I got rid of the 795, and just went back to tube feed.
Never initiate force against another. That should be the underlying principle of your life. But should someone do violence to you, retaliate without hesitation, without reservation, without quarter, until you are sure that he will never wish to harm - or never be capable of harming - you or yours again.

Same problem here. I know there are auto-loaders for the .22 but they're mostly for the 10/22 mags. When I'm reloading my 15-22 mags or my GSG 1911 mags, I get lazy and just pull down on the load-assist tabs and drop the .22 rounds into the mag. Shoots just fine without any FTF's or FTE's.

The only problems I have with that are the fact that the .22 round is very small to grab onto with my fingers (gets tiring grabbing into a box of them), and my thumb/finger will get sore from pulling down on that load assist tab

Yeah, that there is the ticket if you have a tube fed. I have one for my Marlin Model 60.

Haha I dunno if it's from shooting my new 9mm or since I started working out again but loading my 15-22's magazines were a freakin' breeze the other day! I don't use the load assist(2 of mine don't have any anyways), I'll hold a round perpendicular to the one below it and push down then slide in. It was really effortless I think I'll buy 2 more magazines and that's it because I just get bored loading them haha

What's that called and where did you get it?

I've been thinking about doing Appleseed with my Winchester 190, but the tube magazine was putting me off it. That would solve my problem.
