wasup everyone! just picked up my m4 ops .22.. looks and feels like the real AR.
i really wanna shoot it this week, hoping this rain would clear up!

i have a couple of questions about the iron sights... can the front sight be removed? and do i need to use a riser mount... if i want to use a reticle red dot sight?

If your using an Aimpoint clone or a Red dot w/ a standard mount it should co-witness (dot on top of front sight post)with out a problem, that way if your battery dies you can still use your iron sights.

you can get flip up from sight from colts website especially made for this gun. and yes it is removeable.

Other forum. U have to drive out the pins.. I thought u only had to loosen it with Allen wrench, but I guess it's a little more work.
I'm also thinkin of gettin that flip up sight.

I got the 20/10 from R Rages, they feel a bit looser fit than the 10 for some odd reason... you can easily jiggle the magazine in the sleeve...I got 2 and they're both the same!
There was a slight glue residue visible at the bottom part, not too much though!!
Hope yours fit better!

BTW, both the Colt M4 and the H&K are made by Walther for UmarexUSA. And so the mags are exchangeable...

congrats. I disagree bout the mag thing. the 10 rounder makes it look like a badass marksmen/spotter build IMO.

i just received the 20/10 mags as well. it doesn't jiggle like you mentioned, but it does have a smaller square where it clips on to which makes it so much easier to swap magazines. but does juggle on the gun. this magazine is from the factory. i wonder why umarex made it differenly.

one of the mag had the glue residue, which wiped off easily. other didn't
