i have the CZ 452 in 22WMR and the accuracy is VERY good. like most rimfire rifles, you have to look for the best ammo to feed it.

I've got a bunch of CZs but not the 455. I thought the barrel change was 22 lr to Mach 2 only or 22 Mag to 17 HMR only. How do they do the lr to 22 Mag, can 17 HMR be added? Same bolt?

How do you plan on handling the scope set up? One scope with different settings or different scope for each?

I've seen the 455 at local shops, most don't even know about the barrel change feature. I'm visiting gun stores this weekend - I suppose I could end up with one if I'm not careful. It seems to me the more and more Ruger "economizes" on their guns the more CZs I buy instead.

Leave it to the Czechs to replace a vowel with a consonant, eh?

dfletcher, There is no .17M2 yet.Same bolt. There is a spacer in the back of the mag well.Easily removed during barrel switch to accomadate the longer Magnum mags.Latch is in front of magwell.Originally planned on buying a .17HMR.Then I saw the graphic on CZ's website on the 455's easy convertibility.Thought it was a good value for what you get.Scope rings mount on receiver.Rezero after barrel swap.

I just got the same 455 combo myself. I really like the stock on mine. I dried-fired the rifle (with an empty shell) and the trigger seems crisp right out of the box.

I checked whether or not the barrel is free floating - and it was, all the way to the receiver. I mounted the DIP rail and attached a scope with low rings. My concern was that the bolt handle might not clear the scope, but it does.

I have two of the YoDave kits (one for my 452), but I want to see how the 455 shoots before installing it.
