Sig 522 (New Mags): Smoke vs Black

I just got my new mags today from 44mag.com. Just so that you guys can see the differences side by side (they aren't so obvious on the 44mag site). Here you go:

Is there a difference between how snug one mag is vs. another?

The 10 rd. smoke mag that came with my 522 was pretty tight (not drop free), while my BDM 25 rd. mags were loose enough that I installed a set screw in the magwell to keep them snug. I also recall threads on RFC where people had to sand down BDM mags so they wouldn't stick in the 522 magwells.

Wish I knew, I pickup my Sig 522 on Wednesday. I'll comment back later when I do pick it up. Anyone else got feedback for BamBam?

I picked up today!

The Black Dog mags fit really nice. The Sig magazine was very tight. I had to try a tad bit harder with the Sig mag in order to get it out.

Just a correction. I was playing around with the all the Black Dog mags and the smoke (looking exactly like the Sig Sauer version with the Black Dog logos) fits like the OEM version of the Sig Sauer magazines.

The Black Dog BLACK magazines slide in and out really nice. The Black Dog SMOKE function very much like the Sig Sauer mags (you have to give it a tug to yank it out). If you are going to buy more magazines, I would go for the Black Dog BLACK magazines.
