it would be impossible to 'appraise' it without knowing specifics. are the only after market parts the barrel, stock, and scope?

I am not sure if the internals were modified. Bought this 14 years ago and it has been a safe queen since then.

The scope is real nice but Im not sure its a real old one or not. As for the gun itself while unique it looks to be a sub-par extension on the stock. While the wood work is fine there was no attempt to match the grain. It almost looks slapped on. If I were to price the rifle and stock id say the metal is about 300ish and the stock no more than 100. The Scope I couldnt say other than it looks brand new and will command top dollar.

Thanks, the scope is at least 14 years old. Probably closer to 20 if not more. The guy I bought it from, kept his stuff pristine.

what kind of barrel is that? it looks larger than .920"

who made the stock? it looks well done to me, but i cant really tell if it was designed to show a change in wood like it does at the front. it would look better if it was all one piece.

post up ALL the specs that you can. makes, models, caliber (almost looks like a .17 bore, but i doubt it), extra internals, anything you know about the scope, etc. etc.

the more you post, the more you will learn.

the unertl scope is very sought after by vintage rifle shooters , I would seperate it from the rifle and take some good quality close up pics and put it up on evilbay or gunbroker . I cant tell from the pics what the magnification is but a 20x + unertl in excellent condition can top $1000.
