Had two failures to feed last night. Both times occurred during the middle of a mag - not the first round, not the last. Previous shot extracted and ejected fine, but the bolt closed on an empty chamber. I assume this means the bolt didn't recoil quite far enough to strip a round from the mag. I guess it's also possible that it recoiled fully but a mag problem prevented a round from being stripped. I only have two mags, and used each one several times last night.
Any known issues with 10/22 feeding? Maybe install a lighter spring to get full recoil every time? When I searched I didn't find anything on this exact issue.
So far it's the only two times I can remember this happening with 500-600 rounds over two years, so it's not a big deal... yet. Almost all ammo has been standard Blazer bulk pack. Shot 100-150 rounds last night.
