    Ruger Mark II jamming problems?

I have a Ruger mark II with a lot of use. It is now jamming and not entirely ejecting spent cartridges it catches it halfway out while loading another round. I replaced the recoil spring but still jams. What do I need to replace or do to fix it?

To simply stop stovepiping issues, replace the extractor.

To utterly destroy stovepiping issues, install a volquartsen edge extractor.

Take it completely apart including the guts of the bolt and do a complete thorough cleaning. One pin on the bolt, just push it out. Look at the orientation of the parts for a correct reassembly.

This link will help on disassembly and reassembly. http://guntalk-online.com/detailstrip.htm

Purchase a VQ Extractor or Power Custom Extractor and put it in, follow instructions on the above link. Money well spent here, especially if you want to fling some brass!

I'd also look at your magazine. They need occasional disassembly and cleaning.
