    Ruger 10/22 front sight issues

Anyone experiencing any issues with their Ruger 10/22 front sight? Mine fell off while shooting. I can attach it back on but it moves to the lest which throws my shots off to the right.

Any suggestions on how to fix this issue? I have a standard carbine model.

    Thanks

Are you saying it slid out of the dovetail? If so, you can tighten up the dovetail by gentaly tapping down the edges of the dovetail with a punch and hammer, or putting a bunch of center punches on the bottom of the site to upset some metal. I would also use some loctite to keep it in place.

Yes, that's what I'm saying. Thanks for the input!

Put a shim under it, then you can still tap it for widage. I cut the tip off a feeler gage for my Sharps.
