    Ruger MKII Hot Rodded 22/45

I picked this 22/45 really cheap so I decided to have some fun with it. My little Officer's Model. Thought I post some pictures for you all to enjoy. Haven't shot it yet, but hope to have some fun with it soon.

Looks great. I have heard the older model 22/45 are better.

How do you like the Burris Fastfire? What mount is that? Do you have a Model Number for the mount? It looks like it fits in place of the rear sight. I've been thinking about one.

            03fatboy,

i LOVE the fastfire - in fact, i just ordered another one for my FN 5.7.

the p/n for the mount is BU410329 - it is the mount for the Ruger Mark I/II (obviously works fine for the Mark III as well in my case). it is on sale at natchez where I ordered it for $30 =]

after getting it zero'd in at 25 yards, i was able to print this group offhand with the Burris and CCI Mini-Mag in my VQ'd Mark III - needless to say, i'm a fan

Sweet. I was expecting a tac sol upper or something. I have been shooting the same old ruger 22-45 upper for years and thousands of rounds. I love my rugers.
