This revolver from 1967 (Officer's Model Match)is the identical frame and lockwork of the Python.
The SA and DA pull are identical to the Python,no it doesn't have the
barrel and vent rib but is nonetheless an outstanding revolver. Check
the color of the grips. Pete

A cousin--yours is a different frame and lockwork(J frame), the Python and Officers Model
are built on the "I" frame. Pete

Just like a Trooper .357. Same action, different barrel. That was the best little .357 I've owned recently.
