lost the bolt buffer pin thingy that stops the bolt from slamming the back of the reciever when fired while i was cleaning. i stopped by a few stores around here and everyone was telling me to just call ruger. i figured it can't be too much so i'd figure i would just buy one. when i did call ruger though the rep found me the part i was looking for and told me he would send me one free of charge. took about 5 minutes. i think i was on hold longer then it took for him to find and send me the part. anyone having issues with any ruger firearm i'd say give em a call. theyre super helpful and take care of their customers.

What number did you call? I've called several times to try and get a scope screw/nut that fell out and something else for a revolver and where i've been call I haven't been able to get through. -
http://www.ruger.com/footer/contact.html for a revolver i believe you want to call the one in AZ. if not the NH covers all firearms from ruger but the shipping might take longer.Comment

I love Ruger's Customer service. I stripped out the screw holes for the mount on my 10/22. (I KNOW I KNOW DUMB MOVE) I decided what the hell I will give em a call. They replaced the rifle for free!!!!! They also reimbursed me for the DROS fees and the shipping. A++++ in my book as well.
