Appleseed in sacramento

hey all. i signed up for appleseed this saturday in sac valley. anybody else gonna be there? i bought a new 10/22 just for marksmanship training. everything is stock minus the techsights and the sling. here's some pics:

That should be a great shoot. They have a very good team of instructors in Sacramento.

Be sure to bring a shooting mat or carpet remnant to lay on since the shooting lane is gravel. An easy up canopy (with good quality tiedowns and stakes) is a good idea in any season at this facility. Ground is VERY hard so get some solid stakes instead of the thin wire ones.

It pays to shop around for canopies, sometimes best price is Costco, other times is walmart or Big5.

For best results: Get a canopy with straight legs. (Straight up and down instead of slanted.) And heavier is stronger for longer life.

Personal opinion: Get decent ammunition, if this is worth doing it's worth decent ammo.

Thats a nice rifle. I plan on shooting an appleseed or 5 within the next month or so at SacValley.
