    .22 LR from Palmetto Armory

Hey guys, so I need some help. My buddy just bought a rifle in .22 LR and he wanted to buy a case of 5000 CCI Blazer ammo. I told him to check out Palmetto Armory because I've ordered that same ammo from there like 2 months ago. My friend called me and told me that he called Palmetto. They told him that they don't ship to California. What's up with that? Can anybody explain this to me? Last time I heard, AB962 was dead.

If he can't buy the ammo from there, where else would you guys recommend online at the same price as Palmetto?

    Thanks.

Please don't put them on blast yet. Give them a chance to be informed. If you look they are out of stock many times so they arn't hurting for our business. Last thing you want to do is give them a reason not to deal with us by talking trash about them.

I am not trash talking about them at all. I am simply stating a fact that they will not ship to California. I have ordered from them many times before and they are very friendly and helpful. So if my OP seemed like it was trash talking, then I'm sorry. I didn't mean for it to come across that way.

Perhaps just call them back and ask if they know that the law was found to be unconstitutional by a California judge. They may just be unaware. Be prepared to give them some info (internet link, etc.) that they can check on. I am sure they would want to sell to you as they are in business to make money once they see the ammo is not banned (yet).

            Does he live in LA?

Did palmetto specifically say "We can't ship to California"? or did they say "We can't ship to you" and he assumed they meant because he is in California?

              Whiskey tango....

They knew it got overturned the day it happened, the warning banner on their website was removed, and they've been shipping here since. Double-check with them, and make sure that he's not living in LA City.

Only CA restrictions I see on their website is for those cities that don't allow ammo deliveries. Same restrictions that are on all websites that sell ammo.

Thanks for all the feedback guys, I really appreciate it. They said "We don't ship to California", according to my friend. And you are right, they did take the banner off their home page so I don't know why they would say that. I'll ask my friend to call them back and ask what their reasoning is. If it's cuz of the so-called ammo ban that never happened, then looks like we'll just have to inform them.

meh. Forget calling, just place the order on their website. That's my vote.

Maybe the person answering the phone is just a kid with an after school job who does nothing but browse facebook all day and answer the phone. They may have a yellow post-it stuck to the monitor that has "No Ammo to CA, Feb 1" scribbled on it and they're too emo or too peoccupied with their bff's FB status and "OMG Josie kissed Mark and now Katie is jealous" to care to ask the boss about the outdated post-it note. This is just my imagination.

If the website says it's ok to order, I say go for it. It's not like Palmetto's going to charge your card and not send the ammo. They're a good company.

+1 for Dunn's. I think they're out of the 5250 round cases but they have the 5000 round cases of CCI Blazer and American Eagle for $159.99 shipped.
