GSG-5 SD Trigger won't reset. NEED HELP!!!

Please forgive me the long post but I really need some help here.

I was having problems with FTF and fail to eject on my GSG-5 SD. I purchased this in November and have put maybe 1500rds through it.

I took it apart and discovered a set screw (firing pin retaining screw, i think) had backed out on the bolt assembly and damaged the bolt assembly as well as was causing short strokes. This was what I figured was causing the fail to feed and fail to eject.

I contacted ATI, they gave me and RA number, I sent the gun to them (somehow I ended up paying for this shipping), and they "fixed" it and sent it back to me.

The first time I took it to the range I discovered the trigger would not reset under certain conditions.
If I release the trigger as soon as the gun goes off, the trigger resets and everything is fine.
However, if I squeeze the trigger and follow through, hold the trigger back while the empty case ejects and the next round is loaded. After the bolt has seated, if I then release the trigger it stays back. I have to push it forward with my finger to get it to click into place.
I don't ever remember it doing this before I sent it to ATI, and none of my other firearms do this.

I have taken the trigger assembly apart several times since, I have checked springs, pins, alignments, etc. I cannot find any reason why the trigger is not resetting.
I will be taking the bolt apart tonight when I get home.

Has anyone ever seen this before? Is this how this gun is supposed to function and I am just going crazy?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had the similar trigger problem with my gsg-5. It was a small forming/casting defect that was holding it up enough as to not allow smooth reset. It took a few minutes to file and smooth. Now it works perfect.

Thanks dues. Do you happen to remember about where it was? Should I be looking on the bolt housing or in the trigger assembly?

      Thanks again.

It was in the trigger assembly. I cant remember exactly where. It was either the hammer, sear, or disconnecter.

          Update:

Found a couple of spots in trigger assembly that could be filed down to smooth them out. But the big thing I found was that the trigger reset spring was either the wrong spring or installed incorrectly when it came back to me.

I replaced the spring and installed it correctly and now everything works great.
