Dan Wesson 22 Pistol Pack

I have had this for a long time, and I never change barrels. In fact the barells were all wrapped up for more then 15 years now. A few hours ago I was moving things around and unwrapped them. Dang if the 2 inch barrel does not say 38 special on it....WTF....the 6 and 8 inch don't and the barrel itself is a 22 LR like the gun. Did it get switched out? The barrel goes on like it fits perfectly and its definitely a 22 on the inside. Just says 38 special out there....

Dont' suppose some guy with a 38 special DW Pistol pack has ever come around saying darn it - my snub says 22 LR has he?

Are you talking about the barrel itself or the barrel shroud?

That is just a packaging error, I've seen it before as they are the same size. Back when DW was it's own company, they'd just trade you for the correct one if you called
