    My nephew's first AR build

Took all of 45 minutes. He decided on a 22LR so he could have "evil features".

Oh she'll love it, I'm sure. Are you going AR as well?

With ammo costing what it does; i shoot a lot more rimfire than centerfire these days. I'm certain my nephew will shoot more if it's not so pricey.

I shoot much more .22 through an AR platform than I do 5.56.

I rarely shoot my AR cuz of cost. I am going to get a 10/22 and trick it out.

how are your AR15/22 lr shooters shooting out of 1/9 barrels as far as accuracy at say 50 yards?

I skipped the conversion and went straight to a dedicated setup. Much more accurate with a proper barrel (1/16 twist).

Good choice with the .22 I shoot my .22 a lot more as well due to costs and having a wife doesnt make it easier. However, nothing beats shooting larger calibers.

Yup. My wife got her a CMMG dedicated 22lr upper a while back. Finally put it together but just waiting for the magazines to come in. Hopefully, she'll get to try it out next weekend.

Both 22 ARs (mine and his are dedicated uppers) Im sure someone will chime in on the conversion setups.
