    HENRY LEVER ACTION RIFLES

Hello shooting friends! I was recently interested in obtaining a nice lever action rifle, so I thought about a Henry after obtaining one of their free brochures that they offered on the television (by the way, they also have a website for free catalog ordering: www.henryrepeating.com/catalog.cfmhttp://www.midwayusa.com

It's a nice gun - the receiver on the 22 model is cast it's really ugly to engraved - the larger calibers have a machined brass receiver & is a much higher quality than the 22 but - like you say the price is cool & they are a fun gun & good looking shooter - tom

Hi Tom - Yes the 22 model Henry is a really neat rifle. I especially like the carbine that I have. It has the larger lever loop for if your wearing gloves, and it sort of reminds me of the (Chuck Connor) Rifleman's rifle from the old television show. Its a really smooth operator and I enjoy the shorter length. It can spit out rounds as fast as you can swing the lever! I see you have a brass model.....Nice engraving job! Years back I almost went into engraving. I still have a book on it. I was going to try to work for a jeweler, but they wouldn't hire me without experience. I still love art though. Thanks for your reply.

The Henry .22 is a sweet rifle, lever or pump. The pump is my favorite of all the .22's I own!

I've owned a Golden Boy for a number of years now and the sight doesn't bother me at all compared to the plastic barrel band. As they are so affordable to replace, mebbe I'll order me up a barrel band and sight for it.
So, thanks for posting this info...

It's a really smooth lever action compared to the other brands I tried out.

I own 3 Henry rifles right now. (Goldenboy 22Mag, H001T 22LR octagon barrel,
and a H001M 22Mag) All 3 are excellent rifles. Very accurate, well made, and
a lot of fun to shoot. No they aren't made like a Model 39 Marlin or a pre
'64 Winchester. They are real durable though. They have a lifetime warranty
and are made in the USA. They also have the best customer service in the
business. I will definitely buy more Henry's. Get one. You will like it for sure.
