    10/22 Marauder stock kit.

I ran across this looking at 10/22s. I always wanted a G36. Without spending 5k. Might have to check this out.

Need to find a cheap 10/22 tactical

You can also do the "ghetto" airsoft style for $180 cheaper

      Hard to understand...

...just how a stock that costs about as much as the rifle can turn it into a "tactical platform".

You can do a TON of mods for $200 that will actually make the 10/22 and you better shooters.

This would not be one of them.

Ghetto, mall-ninja, and ugly as sin. At least imo.

The barrel is a 16" from a youth model 10/22, the rep said when I talked to him.

Looks very cool! G36 look with the reliability of a ruger 10/22.

Does the youth model matter? Wouldn't the stock make it a shorter LOP, not the barrel/receiver? Or is it a smaller, lighter barrel.

I am probably going to get my first 10/22 soon and get this kit. Assuming its quality is good.

Youth model Ruger 10/22's just have a 16" barrel, no barrel band and a smaller built LOP stock. Most 10/22 guys like to scoop them up just for the 16" barrel. I bought one once from a pawn shop here in Vegas and used it on my 10/22 build.

Here is my youth model barrel on my baby SOCOM II/22

                      And later on my Archangel556.

The bad news is that the G36 kit comes with a folding stock. Isnt that a no no in California?

OK for rimfire as long as the overall length stays over 26" folded.
Maybe have to use an 18" barrel to keep this one legal?

The flash hider that is included with the kit has a blind hole that allows permanent installation of the flash hider onto the barrel. A grinding or machining tool of some kind will be necessary to remove it. This effectively makes the folded length over 26" with the youth barrel. If you're going to install the flash hider on a standard length barrel where folded length is not a problem, you can drill through the blind hole before installation so it can then be removed with a punch.

Disclaimer: It is up to the end user/builder/owner to determine legality of their build from state to state.

There are some videos of the new stocks from Archangel posted at:
