Slight pretravel can result from the length of the contact surface of both hammer/sear.
You can see the hammer/sear engagement through the oval cutout on the right side of the trigger housing.
Do you use the PC Adj Sear/Hammer Kit?Last edited by Spdjunkie; 02-02-2011, 12:29 PM. -
I am actually using VQ parts... The engagement surface for the hammer already seems next to none(especially compared to the standard hammer), dont believe much could be removed from it and still effectively catch the sear, so not sure excesive length is contributing to the bump. but, I actually did not know that the engagement between the two could be seen through the cutout on the trigger housing, glad to hear that, thanks for the heads up!! that will probably give me a very good idea of what it either is, or is not... any other possibilities out there, this sound familiar to anyone?Comment
