Colt Woodsman Reassembly HELP!

So, I just recently stripped my Colt Woodsman (1st gen Target) and I'm now having one hell of a time trying to put this thing back together. I used the Colt website to get it pulled apart, but that's as far as I could get.

I'm having a hard time getting the seer to sit right so that the gun can accept a magazine smoothly and I also can't get the recoil spring to seat right. I already have the spring retained as it's supposed to be, but for some reason the spring will get caught on the hammer.

Can anybody give me a hand on this? I've already spent over 6 hours trying to fix this problem and I'm at my wits' end. Thank you!

The folks there have been super helpful to me. There is an individual there selling a family collection of woodsmans right now - it looks like he had over 20 listed at one time and still have 15 or so listed. He has to be an expert - right?
