Best Ammo for my Ruger 10/22

The cheapest stuff that is accurate and functions well in your gun. Buy a box or two of every low priced 22 ammo you can find. Take a bunch of small targets to the range and shoot groups. Make notes on the targets. Take all home and analyze. Leave house again and buy all you can afford of the "right" round. Time's a wastin' so better hurry.

I use Aguila standard velocity solid point, it's not expensive and works great in everything. I've found it to be most accurate in nearly all my 22s from an old Winchester 75 to new Browning 22 semi and the 10/22. I'm kind of whittling away at all the other brands I have buckets of and buying that, trying it first on anything new.

For cheap accurate plinking I'll suggest Federal Auto Match.
