I've have heared that .22lr will not be considered hand gun ammo, but you never now, better safe than sorry. I have also heared that either way ammo prices are expected to go up in price again..

Most ammo websites list "rifle, pistol & rimfire" as the sellection options. I hope that it means that rimfire is not considered pistol ammo. Let's just keep our fingers crossed that this is the case.
