How often do you guys go shooting?

I just went on Monday and had a blast with my dad and brother. That was the first time in 6 months I've had time to shoot.

Every other Sunday my buddy and I take our Marvel Precision conversions and 1911's to the range, plus usually another of our centerfire handguns.

I used to habitually go at least twice a month to my local pistol range, shooting 22, 9mm, 38/357, and 45acp, but the price surge/ lack of ammo of the last craze broke my habit. For the past couple of years my visits have become very infrequent and random.

Because I only live about 10 Min. from an Open Area for shooting

At least you'll always have ammo. Also I don't think it is too weird to do that. Reloading is a hobby in itself for a lot of people, not just an a tack-on accessory to shooting.

I was just wondering how often you guys go shooting? I just bought 2 10/22s, one for me and one for my 12yr old. Our nearest range is 30 miles away in Vacaville. In the last month when we got his rifle we've been there 3 times. An hour each time at 400 rds. Hoping to go every 2 weeks...and find the outdoorange.

I spend all day at the range,usually 2 or 3 saturday or sundays a month. Here's the trick, 2 10/22s (your already there) a 22/45 and a 5.45x39 ar15. I sometimes shoot 1100 rounds in a day of 22lr between the 2 10/22s, and 22/45. I usually shoot 300 to 500 rounds of 5.45x39 during a typical range trip. I know 5.45x39 is kinda off topic, but I compare prices to rimfire when it comes down to bang for your buck.

I go 2x a month since Jackson arms is by my work. But there rifle range is only 25yds and they want you to buy there ammo which is overpriced. I shoot mostly pistols there. Try to hit Chabot in Castro Valley once a month if I can find someone to go with me.
