Looking for 22 pistol

I'm using Federal Champion (bulk) on my Mosquito with no problem with ocassional ftf. I just fed the failing round again and it fires fine.

I cant remember the last time I had a FTE or any other malfunction. My Kimber shoots as good if not better than my Ruger 22/45 and my friends Browning. Yes its not as inexpensive as a Ruger or Browning but I wouldnt give up my Kimber for anything.

you will be sorry if you buy one of the "cool" looking 22 pistols.

stick with the ruger or buckmark for reasonably priced pistol. s&w 41 if you have more to spend.

I feel your pain. I wanted a cool looking 22, but after reading all of the reviews, I ended up with a 22/45. I am very happy with my decision and its look is actually starting to grow on me.

Sweet. These are pretty reasonably priced for Kimber quality. I just got Miranda, my sig in .40sw. Been eyeing the 22lr conversion for her.

Currently, I own a Mosquito (really not bad and fun to shoot with cheap bulk green box Remington) and a Neos. The Neos looks like a space-gun but it is well balanced and it comes ready to scope (I put a red dot Burris on mine). However, I am going to suggest something else...
Look around for a clean used Colt Woodsman or Targetsman, here is mine, made in '59:


Beautiful, graceful, accurate and no longer being made. It also doesn't hurt to have been made the same year as me

Other than that, I would suggest a 22 upper for an existing handgun, if you have something that can accept one. One day, I plan on getting one for my Colt XSE.
