    Surf-n-shoots re-finished CMP Mossberg M44

Here is a M44 I refinished for a friend of mine. It started dark but came out real blond. Not perfect but better than before.

Looks nice guys! Wish I would have grabbed one when they were still available at CMP. When do you expect your Kimber to arrive?

Very nice, I have been lusting after one of those. I think the UltraLux is ready with her new BRNO Target Aperture Sights.

Thanks. Took me and the wife three years to build the house and garage and still don't have all the flooring done. Labor of love. Oh yeah, love the rifle, amazingly accurate.

The sights are a little higher than the Williams I had on before but I get a pretty good chin weld. Seems having an aperture at the rear and front sight improves the accuracy. Was hitting a two inch bull @ 50 yrds with a 3/4" group first time out. So with a little practice that should shrink a little.

I am very interested to see how that Mossy M44 shoots. Supposed to be great shooters. What sights are on it? I like this months 25yd target, should be a fun one to shoot. Good Luck!

I've had one for 15 years, I look at when I go to shoot it and wonder when I will get to refinishing it. After seeing your, I will make it a priority. Yours turned out great. Thank you for posting. jt
