S&W MP-15 and 22L upper issues

I remember reading somewhere (maybe here) about 22L upper feed issues with the S&S MP-15 lowers. Search here was nil and on Google all that turns up is reviews/posts about the dedicated upper/lower. I thought it was solved by switchng to a different hammer but didnt pay attention to the thread. Until now when my set-up is having feed issues. (Tried Winchester green box hollow points and Winchester XpertHV with same feed issues.) Please advise

Mixing the M&P 15-22 upper with the M&P 15 lower? I'm pretty sure the 15-22 is a dedicated .22 upper only. I've never heard of that though

Its a S&W all caliber AR15 lower with a dedicated 22L upper

You have a "Multi Cal" lower with a S&W M&P 15 .22 upper? Where did you get the M&P 15 .22 upper? I have been looking for an extra upper for mine (M&P 15 .22)
What issues are you having? Explain what it is or isn't doing. I have seen there have been extractor adjustment issues with the M&P 15 .22's

I don't see anywhere in OC-Indian's post he has a S&W upper.

It appears he has a standard M&P-15 lower (not .22lr) and has put a dedicated .22lr upper on it but hasn't mentioned the brand.

It also appears he is having some feeding problems.
