I am not familiar with the bulk Blazer 525 packaging. However, I buy the 500 pack, which contains individual 50 round packs. I would believe that they may be similar.
That said, this is a very good lead bullet round. It works perfectly in my S&W 15-22 and MK III Hunter. The Blazer is one of the "Best bang for the buck" ammo, which I personally use. Accuracy is on par with the 40 gr. CCI Mini Mags, which I use for other guns. The Blazer ammo that I use does lead up quickly in my .22lr conversion kits for some reason.
I currently have about 16,000 rounds of the Blazer on hand with another case due some time next week. Palmetto is selling both the 525 and 500 packs for $14.99/box. I buy by the case and pay $19.00 for shipping.Comment

I was wondering what the difference was between the 500 and 525 box, now I know. Thanks for the great info and where to buy!
Also at Sportsman Warehouse, if you spend $100 or more you get $20 bucks off the total order!Last edited by rocker; 12-22-2010, 8:44 PM.Comment

You are quite welcome . . . Enjoy.
FYI . . . Another good resource for the Blazer ammo is Glen's Army Navy. They sell a case of the 500 packs for $149.00, as well. However, their shipping charges are a bit more than Palmetto's.
Glen's is currently out of stock. When they are in stock, I buy a minimum of 2 cases and I receive a $25.00 discount for what they call "Inventory reduction".
If you are like myself, I go through a couple thousand rounds of .22lr a month . . . Stock up now!!!!Comment

the 525 box is just ammo dumped in a box. so if you want to be more organized, the 500 box would be better.Originally posted by leelawBecause -ohmigosh- they can add their opinions, too?Originally posted by SoCalSig1911Preppers canceled my order this afternoon because I called them a disgrace... LOL . . . I just ordered another case of the Blazer 500 packs from Palmetto. It's $149.90 plus $19.00 for shipping and I opted for the shipping insurance of $1.87 for a total of $170.77.
My wife thinks my ammo stash is insane. I tell her that I am stocking up for my grandson.
However, I do visit the shooting range a few times a week.
I also buy my Federal 525 value packs by the case from Palmetto, as well. These run great in the Advantage Arms .22lr conversion kits for my Glocks.Comment

Hehehe . . . I guess that I am in good company then.
I buy most of my centerfire handgun and rifle rounds at the guns shows, which is quite easy to come by. My .22lr addiction is more manageable by buying in large quantities via on-line. I am retiring this coming May 1st. As such, with the uncertainties of AB 962, I need enough ammo to last for a bit until the dust settles.Comment
