Congrats! Very nice paint job on the laminated stock.
The Marlin 60 shoots very well. They are accurate 22 lr rifles.

BTW, If I may ask who is the maker of the scope rail on your rifle?

Marlin 60s shoot very well for what they are. Buy a 60, buy a 10/22 and unaltered the 60 will outshoot the 10/22 nearly every time. The mircrogrove barrells tend to be very accurate. Be careful with the crown on the barrel. Use a patch worm or boresnake to clean the barrel, never a rod from the front of the barrel. The 60s are capable of shooting 1/2" @ 50 yds with the right ammo and the right shooter. They are fun guns as well as accurate. Congrats on a very nice looking rifle. I have seen some pink rifles before and thought YUK, that's ugly but yours looks very, very nice.

Get it scoped and starting shooting in the monthly rimfire matches, they are a hoot.

It looks like the DIP rail. I put one on my 60. Its a really nice piece. Looks like the DIP charging handle and trigger guard combo, also.

Thanks, the stock came that way from Marlin, they have them in Blue also.

As "ptgarcia" said the parts are from DIProducts

Oh-O!!! That is all subject to individual opinion. I own both and I tip the hat to the "unaltered" 10/22."

no not really lol, its a well known fact in the rimfire world, marlin 60 outshoots a stock 10/22, why do you think theres such an aftermarket for 10/22s , lots of disgruntled ruger owners

Don't get me wrong, the Ruger is a nice Semi and many shoot well and they can be made into tack drivers with the right barrels, triggers, etc... but if one wants accuracy out of the box I doubt will find another semi rifle that can beat a Marlin 60 for accuracy at their price point. Neither are match target rifles. Plinkers and squirrel getters for sure.

Well again, it's all up to one's personal interpretation. I own both brands with varying models. I love both guns. But I'm sure i can out shoot probably you with my stock 10/22 vs. your stock 60.

Bring your factory Non-bull barrel 10/22 and I'll bring my 60. I'll even bring $20 to back up my talk. The 60 WILL beat it.

Now here's a guy that knows. If you check out the monthly Rimfire matches you'll find your $20 in his wallet.
